A proper old pub with a lot of stories to tell. And a few ghosts, apparently!

Expect excellent beer, great wine, a wide selection of spirits (oooooh), stone-baked pizza or a classic pub cob, plenty of laughs and a calendar that’s always got something going on. From lazy afternoons with board games in front of an open fire and quiz nights to live music, parties and big celebrations in The Barn, we’re here for good times, great company and always with a warm welcome.

Today, we’re one of Bewdley’s biggest pubs, with one of the town’s largest all-weather beer gardens. You can’t miss our imposing historic building on the Kidderminster Road — honestly, you probably shouldn’t want to. We’re just a few minutes’ walk over the bridge from Bewdley town centre and around the corner from the Severn Valley Railway, making us the perfect spot to stop before or after exploring our lovely town. And yes, we have our own car park!

We’re dog-friendly, family-friendly and very much open to everyone — whether you’re here for a quick pint, a family pizza, a long afternoon in the beer garden or a night that somehow turns into a few more drinks than planned.
